Terms of Use for Repair of Product

The Services constitute a technology platform that connects users of SCREENPLUS(TechHeads India) mobile applications or websites provided as part of the Services (each, an "Application") who are seeking gadget (Phones, tablet, Laptop etc) repair by trained professionals. Under agreement with SCREEN PLUS, the Services are made available solely for your personal/ non-commercial use unless agreed otherwise, in writing in a separate agreement with you.

Payment for Services

You understand and agree that usage of the Services may result in payments by you for the services you receive from us ("Charges"). After you have received services, SCREENPLUS will facilitate payment of the applicable Charges on using the preferred payment method you have designated while initiating or modifying your Account and will send you a receipt vide email at the end of each session. By utilizing the Services, it is understood and agreed that payment of the Charges in such manner shall be considered the same as payment made directly by you to us. Charges will be inclusive of applicable taxes whosoever required by law. Charges paid by you are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise determined by SCREENPLUS in its sole discretion. While you do retain the right to request lower Charges from us for services received by you from us at the time you receive such services from us, respond accordingly to any request from us to modify the Charges for a particular service.

You understand and agree that

If your primary account payment method is determined to not able to be charged for any reason whatsoever, you agree that SCREENPLUS may, use a secondary payment method in your account, if available.

SCREENPLUS reserves the right to establish, remove and/or revise Charges for any or all aspects of the Services at any time at SCREENPLUS sole discretion.

SCREENPLUS will use reasonable efforts to inform you of Charges that may apply, provided that you will be responsible for Charges incurred under your account regardless of your awareness of such Charges or the amounts thereof. We may from time to time provide certain users with promotional offers and discounts that may result in different Charges for the same or similar Services, and you agree that such promotional offers and discounts, unless also made available to you, shall have no bearing on your use of the Services or the Charges applied to you. You may choose to cancel your request for Services from us at any time.

  • (i) all Charges are due immediately and

  • (ii) payment will be facilitated by SCREENPLUSusing the preferred payment method you have designated while initiating or modifying your Account.

Important Note: 

Before starting the Screen Repair:

Our technician will check the phone for faults/issues and inform you of the same. Such pre-existing issues are not our responsibility & might/might not get fixed after the screen replacement. Please inform the technician at this point if you don’t want to continue the service. After the screen replacement you are pre-existing issue (like speaker. Mic etc) may still be faulty and you might need to get them fixed by another repair vendor. We have the right to refuse to service the device which we feel are not fit for screen replacement.


After Repair of Screen:

Our technician will take back customer's phone old screen after new screen replacement process. This is an important step to activate your SCREEN PLUSwarranty and fail-safe mechanism for our technician to put corrupt parts into the system. It is a mandatory process. If you still want to retain the older screen, then the warranty will only be valid for 3 months (90 days) instead of 6 months (180 days).


Repair Parts Quality

We use the best quality parts for repair. Generally, we get these parts directly from OEM supplier factory. Please note that these parts may not be sourced from Brand itself and don’t carry brand warranty. All Warranty provided is by TechHeads India only. Also, as SCREENPLUS is a third-party service and is not related to any brand, after using SCREEN PLUSservice if your device has any active warranty it will become void.


Repair Clauses for iOS users: 

1. We do not necessarily use original Apple parts to repair the phone.

 

2. Please note that repairing your phone on SCREENPLUS will void the Apple warranty.

3. Please note that fingerprint sensor of home button is connected to screen and may have been internally damaged when your screen is damaged. SCREENPLUS service undertakes the repair of the “Screen” and not the fingerprint sensor. We would do our best to make sure the finger sensor works after screen replacement but cannot guarantee the same.


Warranty 

We provide a 6-month warranty on every mobile screen (not on any other mobile phone component) replaced by us. The 6 months warranty covers:

  • Screen/LCD that malfunctions or does not work as intended or designed.
  • Any display issues that may arise without any manual intervention and are related to the screen quality specifically dead pixels and touch issues. 
    If the screen replaced by us causes any above-mentioned issues, you can claim a brand new screen with the continued warranty of 6 months!


Please note:

  • The warranty is valid only for the specific device repaired and the original customer. It is not transferable across devices or if the device is sold or handed over to another individual.
  • In case the old screen of your device is not handed over to the technician, the warranty is applicable only for 3 months.

How can I claim my warranty?

You can claim the warranty by writing to us at care@screenplus.co.inwith the service details and the invoice delivered to you at the time of repair.

How much time will SCREENPLUS take to resolve my query, if it is coming under warranty? Our team generally resolves an issue within 48 hours to 72 hours from the moment you send us a query. You will get acknowledgement over mail for your query and your issue will be sorted as soon as possible.

Warranty is limited to the parts and/or service(s) that were paid for. If only parts were purchased, warranty is limited to the replacement of the parts. If parts and repair service were purchased, warranty extends to cover the labour cost of part replacement and any other repairs specifically resulting from the initial repair.

 


The warranty is not applicable under the following scenarios:

  • We do not cover any kind of accidental damage and our warranty stands null and void in all such related cases. Direct damage or damages caused because of accidents will not be covered under the warranty.
  • Subsequent mishandling which causes the frame to bend, twist, or crack will not be entertained
  • Subsequent mishandling with the screen such as hard press that may initiate discolouring or lining on the display
  • Subsequent accidental or purposeful
  • Water damage
  • Tampering with internal
  • Damage resulting from attempted customer self-repairs
  • Software issues unrelated to the repair
  • Jail-broken devices
  • New damages unrelated to the original repair
  • Any loss of data occurring as a result of the repair - customers are advised to back up all data prior to the repair attempt Our warranty also does not cover the outcome of a repair if certain pre-repair conditions exist, including:
  • Existence of known manufacturing and/or performance issues related to the device separate from repair, as noted prior to the repair
  • Existence of damage to the device frame, as noted prior to the repair
  • Water damage
  • Jail-broken devices
  • Tampering with internal hardware: Under certain conditions, internal damage may make a repair impossible. Our specialist will be able to explain in detail upon diagnosing your specific device. If you have any doubts, we recommend that you do not attempt to repair the device on your own, as any damage may affect the reparability of your device.


How to Raise Warranty Escalation?

  • Share the picture/video of the phone with the prevailing display issue to care@screenplus.co.in.
  • Send us your phone number/order number/IEMI Number. Just about any of it to care@screenplus.co.in.
  • Our team generally resolves an issue within 48 hours to 72 hours from the moment you send us a query. You will get acknowledged mail for you query and your issue will be sorted as soon as possible. 
    For all warranty escalations post-repair service, we have the full authority to determine whether the escalation is valid for warranty or not. We will take a maximum of 7 working days to schedule another visit or reject your escalation. 
    Valid Escalations: Issues which are due to our screen quality or technicians’ fault Non- Valid Escalations: Issues which are due to earlier issues / fault of parts which are not related to screen replacement. Detailed list given below.


Warranty is not applicable under the below conditions- 

Our warranty also does not cover the outcome of a repair if certain pre-repair conditions exist, including-

  • Existence of known manufacturing and/or performance issues related to the device separate from repair, as noted prior to the repair
  • Existence of damage to the device frame, as noted prior to the repair Jail-broken devices
  • Tampering with internal hardware: Under certain conditions, internal damage may make a repair impossible. Our specialist will be able to explain in detail upon diagnosing your specific device. If you have any doubts, we recommend that you do not attempt to repair the device on your own, as any damage may affect the reparability of your device.
  • Only accidental damage is covered, and any intentional damage or damage caused due to negligence will not be covered
  • This warranty is not applicable if the device has been opened/repaired by anyone else other than us or screen of the device has been changed, from the one that was applied by SCREENPLUS.
  • Subsequent internal hardware becoming faulty, like a battery, speaker, mic, proximity sensor, camera (front or back), Network Card(Wi-Fi/Mobile network/Bluetooth), External buttons, etc which are not related to Screen replacement.
  • Software issues unrelated to the repair.
  • Any loss of data occurring as a result of the repair - customers are advised to back up all data prior to the repair attempt.
  • Tampering with internal hardware: Under certain conditions, internal damage may make a repair impossible. Our specialist will be able to explain in detail upon diagnosing your specific device. If you have any doubts, we recommend that you do not attempt to repair the device on your own, as any damage may affect the repairability of your device.


Damage Beyond Repair

There may be 1 in 1000 cases where during the replacement process the device may get damaged. In any case where during the repair process the device is damaged then the following procedure is followed:

  • • The said item will be taken to central Repair hub where it will be repaired and returned within 7 working days
  • • In Case where not able to repair the handset to original condition, we will offer to buy the phone in the condition before repair starts. For Eg: iPhone 6 16 GB was given for screen replacement, but during repair motherboard is short circuited and is beyond repair. Then will pay you for iPhone 6 16 GB, Screen broken price which is available on Cashify.in. Please note that the final price offered will be as per www.screenplus.co.in only.


Refund Policy:

  • All refunds are at the discretion of the company.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the purchase. Buyer must give written consent for refund via writing or electronic form or communication. Please send mail on care@screenplus.co.inPost the 7-days period, refund requests cannot be made and will not be entertained.
  • No cash refunds even if payment made in cash originally. Refund will be made via bank transfer or electronically only.
  • Refund will be made in the name of original buyer only.
  • Refund process will be initiated after approved internally.
  • No refund of minimum/diagnostics service charges paid.
  • Refunds may take 7-10 business working days from the date of internal approval.
  • In case of any other issues which are not covered in the policy, please write in to care@screenplus.co.in
